Hi, I'm Rande.
With 10 years of client experience, training in Somatic Experiencing and Eating Psychology Coaching, plus my deep interest in growth and healing - I bring a unique approach to my work.
I also run Free Spirit Academy. To me, a “free spirit” is feeling safe to be you - and often, that can mean unearthing trauma from family, culture, religion, education systems, and beyond.
I support clients in coming home to their bodies, tending to their trauma, and nurturing their truth.
I understand how trauma of all kinds can disconnect us from ourselves. Coming from a background of early and religious trauma, eating disorders, chronic health challenges, dissociation, and self-harm, I've had a long-time obsession with freedom and healing.
In session, I use my own experience, intuition, and education to support integration, resilience, clarity, and steps forward.
When we work together, I take the same approach that I learned to take with myself: deep listening, fierce tenderness, and an eagerness to support you in your unique needs.
On a more personal note, I'm a queer, neurodivergent woman and I live with my wife in the Pacific Northwest.

What
Clients Say
Heidi H.
“Rande has compassion, commitment, and perseverance. I was waiting for her to give up on me but she never did. No weary sighs indicating a question of whether I was “help-able”. Her coaching skills are wise and intuitive. She knows when to encourage and when to simply listen. She always has helpful workable ideas and tips. She’s about sustainable and long-lasting — not quick fixes.”

"A few months on in working with Rande, I was able to take so many small, internal steps: Towards myself. Towards my anxiety.
Towards my hurt inner child. Towards that grown-up woman who didn't allow herself to enjoy rest because she was so scared to fail.Towards all those inner parts of me I wanted to get rid of because they all seemed to get in my way (and whom I am now more and more able to meet with understanding, love and compassion).-And towards my inner strength, love, and ability to feel deeply."
